肿瘤研究新进展——十年谈！

Weinberg在《Cell》杂志上撰写了一篇题目为：The Hallmarks of Cancer的综述，阐述了肿瘤细胞的6个基本特征，即：生长信号的自给自足（Self-Sufficiency in Growth Signals）；抗生长信号的不敏感（Insensitivity to Antigrowth Signals）；回避凋亡(Evading Apoptosis)；潜力无限的复制能力(Limitless Replicative Potential)；持续的血管生成(Sustained Angiogenesis)；组织浸润和转移(Tissue Invasion and Metastasis)。这一肿瘤学经典综述很快被生命科学工作者和教科书大量引用，截止到今天，已经被引用10643次（参考谷歌学者搜索）。
十年后的今天，2011年3月4号，他们又在《Cell》杂志上再次发表该综述的升级版，题目为：Hallmarks of Cancer: The Next Generation。整个综述29页，阐述了最近10年的肿瘤学研究进展和热点，如细胞自噬、肿瘤干细胞、肿瘤微环境等，并且将过去的6个肿瘤细胞特征扩增到10个，新增加的4个特征为：避免免疫摧毁(Avoiding Immune Destruction);炎症促进肿瘤发生（Tumor Promotion Inflammation）; 细胞能量的失常（Deregulating Cellular Energetics）; 基因组不稳定性和突变（Genome Instability and Mutation）。并且将过去的回避凋亡(Evading Apoptosis)，调整为抵抗细胞死亡(Resisting Cell Death)。
总之细读全文，能够快速的了解肿瘤学流派的全貌以及肿瘤研究中的重要事件，毫无疑问该review又将缔造引用神话。

呵呵，这不是在演十面埋伏吗。
不仅将缔造引用神话，而且下一个十年也预设好了：

这些个所谓标志互相之间的关系，加上不同类型相关细胞的互动，看来下一个十年得整一个三维动态模型才行。十年前在NIH听过一个大牛讲座，说人类大规模投入癌症研究三十年了，到了收获期。看来，才开始呐……。
