totipotent stem cells：全能干细胞，又名万能（omnipotent）干细胞，可以分化产生各种类型的细胞，甚至可以产生一个有功能的机体。只有受精卵及其分裂后的几代细胞有这种特性； t# `+ ]' [% B& b
Pluripotent stem cells：多能干细胞，为了区别和Multipotent stem cells的意思，也叫亚全能干细胞。受精卵分化几代后细胞就由全能干细胞变为多能干细胞，它们也可以产生各种类型的细胞，但不能形成有功能的机体。举个例子，在发育的第4天，胚胎会分化为2部分：胎盘和形成机体的细胞群。形成机体的细胞也可以变成一个有功能的机体，但只有这些细胞机体也是不能成形的（需要胎盘的共同作用）；5 `4 ?7 @% I9 Z' d% `! r
Multipotent stem cells：多能干细胞，这个不用多解释了吧，就是指能分化成很多类型的细胞，功能没有pluripotent stem cells强大，举例为间充质干细胞；; {& o0 j: m( m) B% Q: A g6 a a
Oligopotent stem cells：单能干细胞，只能分化成一类细胞的干细胞，本身具有干细胞活性（无限增殖、自我更新等），举例为生殖细胞的祖/母细胞；9 _$ K+ ?, m* r/ c
Unipotent cells：应该是只能形成一个类型细胞的细胞，不具有干细胞活性，是成熟的体细胞。
